Access to Sainte-Foy-La-Grande

The great thing about staying in Sainte-Foy-La-Grande is that you don't necessarily need your own transport. The train system is excellent: Bordeaux is an hour away, St Emilion for exploring the vineyards is 25 minutes and Bergerac, with its airport, great shops and restaurants, just 15 minutes.

The TGV from Paris to Libourne takes three hours; change here and then take the train to Ste Foy - it takes around 30 minutes. The schedules are the same as above.

Coming by road from Bergerac, take the D936 direct to Ste Foy.

Welcome to River Dreaming

River Dreaming is the perfect apartment for two or three people. In a superb location on the ramparts of the 13^th century town of Sainte-Foy-La Grande, it has enchanting views over the river across to Port Sainte Foy and to a pretty chateau. Just steps away is the historical bastide which today has all the restaurants, bistros, cafés and shops you could wish for. The town is situated in the major wine-producing regions of Bordeaux and Bergerac, with St Emilion close by.

The apartment is on ground level and has parking at the door. The large sitting room has a dining area, and is equipped with a convertible sofa, Wifi, an iPod dock and a DVD player. The kitchen has everything you’ll need, and there’s a bathroom with shower. The bedroom has a queen-size double bed and opens onto the balcony with its superb river views. Relax on the comfortable balcony armchairs and count the swans gliding by.
